Critical Dates on Your BMW Scheduled Maintenance

Whether you drive a BMW that just rolled off the lot or a converted greasel circa 1980s, sticking to the regularly BMW suggested repair schedule is critical to its performance. It will prolong its life as well as optimize its performance. Maintenance can vary, especially for models made before 1999, so you might want to double check with a mechanic that specializes in BMWs and other European cars. In general, brakes should be checked every 10,000 miles. The steering system should be inspected every 20,000 miles. Spark plugs should be replaced every 60,000 miles. Car body should be inspected for rust, according to your warranty.
