Simple Car Troubleshooting Basics For If You Break Down

If you want to diagnose your car’s problems on the side of the road, there’s a few things you can easily check. How does your fuel gauge look? No gas or a depleted battery will stop your car dead. Any other unusual lights on? Use your owner’s manual to troubleshoot your car’s warning lights. Remember that there are usually two different levels of a check engine light. If it is the more serious level—usually the light will be blinking—don’t try to drive the car or you may cause more damage. Call a mechanic for car diagnostics.
