If you’ve imported your Mercedes from Britain anytime in the last six years, you might want to talk to our Cincinnati mechanics. That’s because Mercedes issued a recall last July for nearly every Mercedes sold in Britain for the last six years. The engine needs to be adjusted to reduce the amount of pollutants. The recall affects 3 million existing vehicles across Europe. “The public debate about diesel engines is creating uncertainty. We have therefore decided on additional measures to reassure drivers of diesel cars and to strengthen confidence in diesel technology,” Mercedes CEO Dieter Zetsche said in a statement following the recall.
