Would You Believe These Celebrities Love Vintage Car Repair?

Posted 5/3/17

If you’re like our mechanics, you live and breathe European cars, everything from the hod rod roasters that just peeled out of the lot to the antique beauties that are practically history on wheels. At European Auto Mechanics, we love great cars, and we can’t get enough of them. But sadly, we work at an auto repair shop in Cincinnati, not Hollywood, so our collection will always be tinker toys compared to the garages of celebrities.

Still, even us little guys love peeking over the fence to check out the hot rod collections of the rich and famous. Take a look at this recent post from the Richest on 13 celebrities with the craziest car collections in the universe.

The Rappers, Boxers and Wrestlers Who Love Cars

Yeah, we already knew about Jay Leno and we could probably have pegged Jerry Seinfeld, but who knew Funkmaster Flash took time out of the recording studio to tinker with restoring vintage cars? Or that Boxing champion Floyd Mayweather has spent over $7 million on adult size Hotwheel toys for his garage? Even former WWE wrestler and pro football player Bill Goldberg is into vintage car repair.

Yep, time we all quit our jobs, and start rapping, boxing or wrestling so we too can live the garage dreams of these celebrity stars!

Ask Your Cincinnati Mercedes Mechanic About This Latest Recall

If you’ve imported your Mercedes from Britain anytime in the last six years, you might want to talk to our Cincinnati mechanics. That’s because Mercedes issued a recall last July for nearly every Mercedes sold in Britain for the last six years. The engine needs to be adjusted to reduce the amount of pollutants. The recall affects 3 million existing vehicles across Europe. “The public debate about diesel engines is creating uncertainty. We have therefore decided on additional measures to reassure drivers of diesel cars and to strengthen confidence in diesel technology,” Mercedes CEO Dieter Zetsche said in a statement following the recall.
