Common Cincinnati Saab Repair Problems with the 9-5

The Saab 9-5 was the company’s flagship model when it was released in the late 90s. It sold well and production continued until 2009. But there are several repair issues with this Saab you should be aware of. The first is sludge. The PCV system inadequately vents the engine, causing a sludge buildup that will ultimately doom your engine. This problem was fixed in 2004, so if you purchased the vehicle in the last decade or so, you don’t have to worry about it. This car also provides a lot of torque, but that can be stressful on the engine mounts that hold it in place. The spark plugs can also lead to misfiring engines.
