This could be because you left your lights on, or it could be a loose wire. You might also have an alternator problem. If your lights don’t work or they flicker, you probably have a battery problem. Your car could also have a bad ignition switch. If your lights turn on but the car doesn’t start, it’s probably the ignition switch. You might also have a bad starter — the electrical motor that’s connected to the battery. This is usually the case if you hear a clicking noise but the car still doesn’t start.
