A Sneak Peek at the New Electric Volkswagen SUV

Posted 7/15/17

At April’s Shanghai Auto Show, Volkswagen fans got a sneak peak of one of the four affordable electric vehicles expected to be released over the next few years, RT reported.

The third model to be under the I.D. sub-brand, the new I.D. Crozz SUV is both a  sports utility vehicle and a four-door coupe. It features a range of over 300 miles on a full charge. The battery can reach 80 percent capacity in 30 minutes.

An SUV that Takes You for a Drive

Plus, the vehicle features autonomous driving options. The driver pushes on the VW badge in the steering wheel, which then automatically folds into the cockpit. The car then drives and navigates based on signals it gets via laser and ultrasonic scanners, radar sensors, and cameras.

Our Volkswagen electrical specialists are excited. They’ll finally be able to catch up on their knitting on their busy commute to work, even in bumper to bumper Cincinnati traffic.

The car is designed to compete with with Tesla’s Model X.

Why BMW Brakes Require Special Care

BMW is known for having awesome brakes, but they need special care. Those soft pads and rotors give them exceptional reliability, but need to be replaced every 30,000 to 50,000 miles. And you should replace rotors at the same time as pads, since they wear out at the same rate. Most BMWs have a low brake light to tell you when it’s time. And always use factory parts. They don’t cost more and are more reliable. Your BMW will run best with the right parts and accessories, and this includes BMW oil every time you get an oil change. It will improve your gas mileage as well.
