If you own an Audi, you don’t need our Audi technicians to tell you it’s a fast car. But have you seen what it can really do when speed limit signs no longer apply?
Imagine putting your Audi through its paces and soaring down the Autobahn at 186 MPH. As this YouTube video demonstrates, driving the Audi RS6 at that speed down the Autobahn looks absolutely insane, though insanely legal. Since none of us can achieve that safely or legally while driving I-75 in Cincinnati, it’s a viewpoint that’s better appreciated on a computer screen than in real life.
Don’t Try This At Home: Avoid a 180 mph Speeding Ticket
Imagine what you’d say to a cop who pulled you over while taking your Audi for a joyride that is only a little bit shy of 200 mph. It seems unlikely that wanting to see how fast my Audi could really go would be a very good defense. But, all of the Audi mechanics at our auto repair shop would definitely want to hear the story the next time you drop it off for Audi repair once you get your license back. Sure, it’s a terrible idea to drive that fast on a public road, but we couldn’t help but ask how the drive really was. When import car maintenance is your day job, you know all of the ins and outs of foreign car repair, and can’t help but wonder how these finely crafted cars can really go when you open them up.
Unfortunately, unless you live in Germany, it’s best to play it safe in the slow lane and stick to YouTube videos instead.
