Why Our BMW Technicians are Excited for 2017

Posted 3/22/17

If you are a BMW fan, you know 2016 was a good year for the company. And this next year should look even better. Last year’s release of the BMW M2 and M4 GTS may seem like only the warm up act after the car company releases the G30 Generation BMW 5 Series in 2017.

“The BMW 5 Series Touring will be debuted in 2017 and it will bring possibly the best looking wagon to the segment,” the BMW Blog reports. “The previous-gen F10 5 Series Touring was a great looking car and this new G30-gen should be even better. While it does have some impressive competition these days, like the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate and Jaguar XF Estate, it will still be one of the better wagons on sale.”

New SUVs, Sporty Updates

What else can we expect from BMW repair and upcoming new models?

“Two new SUVs will make their debuts, the BMW X2 and the third-gen X3,” states the BMW Blog. “The former will be a sporty UKL-architecture-based crossover to compete with the Audi Q2 and Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class. It will be sort of what the X4 is to the X3, but only to the X1. Then there will be the X3 which, in its third generation, will get updated looks, technology and engines. The X3 is one of BMW’s best-selling vehicles, so this new iteration will be very important to BMW.”

The new technology should also mean improved BMW brakes and a new package of BMW scheduled maintenance. This year is definitely a good year to be a BMW owner.

Signs You Shouldn’t Trust Your Cincinnati Auto Repair Shop

What are some warning signs you shouldn’t trust your auto mechanic in Cincinnati? For starters, they’re not certified by the National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence. Though not all states require it, most garages will require it for employment. If they don’t have it, you’re probably dealing with a hillbilly slap garage which can lead to all kinds of problems. Do they offer a warranty on their work? If not, they don’t put their money with their mouth is and will leave you holding the bill if the work is shoddy. And if a repair has ever been done improperly, it’s time to shop around. Repair mistakes can be costly, sometimes even more expensive than the original problem in the first place.
