A Radiator Flush vs. a Radiator Drain: What’s the Difference?
Draining a radiator simply means removing the old fluid and adding new. With a radiator flush, the old radiator fluid is removed. Then 4 to 5 gallons of new antifreeze is pumped through your radiator to more optimally remove any debris and contaminants. Once that is done, then another batch of new radiator fluid is added. Flushing a radiator guarantees that all the dirt has been removed, while merely draining a radiator only removes 50% of it.
